Garbage management plan

It is prepared In accordance with MARPOL requirements.

It is a tailor-made plan aiming to environmental protection as well as containing all the necessary information and procedures implemented by the vessel and its crew for the proper handling of garbage on board. 

 

Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP)

It is prepared in accordance with Regulation 37 of MARPOL Annex I.

This plan aims to provide the Master guidance on the actions to be taken in case of oil pollution incidents that may be faced such as oil spills etc.

 

Shipboard Marine Pollution Emergency Plan (SMPEP)

It is prepared in accordance with Regulation 37 of the MARPOL Annex I

This plan gives guidance on the actions to be taken in case of an oil spill or a spill involving a noxious liquid substance, or potential threats of such incidents.

 

Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP)

It is prepared in accordance with MARPOL Annex VI
It is a ship-specific plan whose purpose is to establish a mechanism for the company and the vessel for improving the energy efficiency of the vessel’s operation. This is linked to the broader management policy of the Company and the aim is to provide an approach of monitoring the fleet’s efficiency over a period of time aiming to optimize performance.

 

VOC management plan

MARPOL Annex VI regulates the VOC emissions from a tanker in designated port(s) or terminal(s) of a Party regulating such emissions.
According to regulations, a tanker carrying crude oil shall have onboard and implement a VOC management plan approved by the Administration in accordance with the corresponding IMO Resolution and it is specific to each ship.
 The aim of the VOC management plan is to identify the arrangements and equipment required to enable compliance with MARPOL and to identify for the ship’s officers the operational procedures for VOC emission control.

 

STS operations plan 

The STS operations plan covers ship-to-ship (STS) transfer operations of crude oil and petroleum products. It is primarily intended to familiarize Masters and ship operators with the general principles involved. The STS operations plan has been developed in accordance with the standards described in MARPOL Annex I.

The STS operations plan has been developed taking into account the best practice guidelines for STS operations as identified by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). It may be incorporated into an existing safety management system required by Chapter IX of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, as amended, if that requirement is applicable to the oil tanker in question.
