The founding aim of Prevention at Sea is to provide the industry with the right tools for safe and effective ‘sailing’ in the complex shipping world of today. We believe that the ‘key’ to moving forward in this complex industry is by implementing the concept of ‘prevention’, thus safeguarding life, property and the environment. By developing innovative software products for the maritime industry and embracing efficient risk profiling evaluation, modern risk auditing as well as training techniques, Prevention at Sea aims to provide tools and services with the aim to protect our client investment and help them fulfil their strategic goals and objectives.
We work together with the Liberian Registry on the project Electronic Record Books which involves the design and development of innovative electronic record books in line with the current conventions with the aim to replace the traditional paper record books.
We cooperate with the European University of Cyprus for the development of innovative tools in the marine risk assessment field. European University Cyprus has been assessed with the highest distinction of 5-Stars in teaching, facilities, inclusiveness, social responsibility and internationalisation.
We work closely with the Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean (MarInEM) cooperating in the field of providing state of the art maritime and OPITO training as well as mutually participating in EU marine innovative projects.
By identifying a growing demand for specialized training in the Shipping Industry, Prevention at Sea in cooperation with VISIBLE have developed a range of 'Maritime Corporate Modules' designed specifically for the world of shipping.
